We had the pleasure of virtually interviewing Morgan Jones to find out what about food brings her so much joy. Read below for more inspiration!
Q: What about food brings you so much joy? Is it gatherings with family & friends, storying telling around the dinner table, tasting new food while traveling? In a few sentences, you tell me…..
A: Food has always been the core of gathering in my family and friend groups. Any bad day can been solved with good food and great company, and there’s nothing like getting to explore new cultures through native cuisines, reminding me of some of my best memories around the world.
Q: What inspires you and why?
A: Being around genuine, original people who have grit. People who are willing to share all of their stories, not just the highlights. Traveling — there’s something about being in a completely foreign place and getting to experience a new culture that makes us our most vulnerable selves and opens us up to things we wouldn’t otherwise consider. A lot of my best ideas have come to me when I’m removed from my routine and allowing myself to let my mind wander.
Q: What is your favorite cuisine and why?
A: Italian! I love how Italians are brought together with food, and I think it really shows in their cuisine. They have everything covered from the oils they cook with to the wine they pair their food with. I think there’s something to be said about long Italian dinners with endless courses and endless conversation.
Q: Who has inspired you most in life?
A: My parents for never sugarcoating anything. For always reminding me of the importance of being honest and kind. And for working nonstop while raising my brother and me to ensure that we better childhoods than them.
Q: What is your favorite quote?

Q: Do you have any advice that you’d like to pass along to other entrepreneurial minded individuals about how you achieved your own personal success?
A: Know what you know and share it with others. Always help others when you have something to offer, because you never know when you’ll be reaching out to them for help. And most importantly, be kind. “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
